The psychology field is expanding promptly and is progressively essential on how we think about human behavior. It also defines our behavior with other people who are present around them. Every human is different from each other therefore their behaviors, motivations and mentalities are quite different from each other. According to researchers, it can be stated that social psychology is the term that demonstrates the necessity of conformity stress in social group and it also demonstrates leading people that how the authority people sometimes create obedience equal to the amount of to cause many pressure to others. This study sheds light on evaluating the worried well condition for the people in order to instruct them to live healthy life.
It is observed that thousands of people are suffering from imaginary illness, they can see which things that are not exists. Increasing anxiety and daily stress are increasing the worried-well among us. Worried well are commonly known a hypochondria, it is a kind of anxiety disorder. It arises by our minds, and people’s starts to notice those things that are not exist in real. It can happen for several reasons. According to researchers, it can be stated that most of the times patients cross all barriers before seeking help for the symptoms (Clayton et al. 2019). It can be stated mostly patients lose their patience and get violent when they are inform by their perspective doctor that they are suffering from this disease. According to the physicians, that it is not good to inform the worried well patients that they are seeing imaginary things because it might create negative effects in their minds (Epton et al. 2017). Most of the people are suffering from this disease in various countries.
Worried-well can happen for many reasons for example- watching excessive thriller shows sometimes cause the disease. Patients start imagining that someone, might be present at their home, they are unusually notice those things that are not exists in real world (Berger et al. 2015). The patients might think that someone is trying to kill them or they started to observe those people who are not present actually. In such cases, a major illness, stress can be observed. Depression and psychotic illness are another major concern, which causes worried-well. The symptoms of hypochondria mainly include sleeping problem, having problems to corporate with family, and friends. According to Australian psychologist, that these patients are mainly spending their time on searching the internet about the disease, they mainly do medical tests in order to understand the main problem. Hence, those people mainly spend their time to talk with other people such as their family and friend about their health condition.
Most of the time patients are feeling unwell and may notice bumps. Now the main question is why most of the people are worried- well, most of the cases it is observed that it mainly occurs from inner fear or from bad past experience and from the considerable anxiety (Niemi et al. 2016). However, Worries- well can also occur from the society who lives with us. According to psychotics, people who get sensitive easily have a chance to get influence in a small matter and start dreaming about imaginary thing (Van iddekinge et al. 2016). However worried-well can cause by various reason but the main attempt is that- what a physician needs to perform in this critical symptom caring is the main part. In this care, patients need more care and more patience. A physician needs to listen all of the queries properly and makes them understand that it is not necessary for them to take any sorts of tensions. According to the study, it can be stated that care and nurturing is the main treatment of that disease. Instead of diagnosis through testing, a physician needs to help them so; they can get rid out of those worries that may create negative impact in their mentality as well as their personality.
As per Australian clinical psychiatry to treat those asymptomatic patients they uses treatments like- cognitive behavioral therapy, met cognitive therapy etc (The West Australian, 2019). The Australian psychotics also start process like- mindfulness, reframing un-imaginary thoughts, and helps to learning feelings tolerant. Another reason of worried well is stress related problem mostly from headaches, digestive disorder, chest pain etc. Nevertheless, it can also occur by reduction of the enjoyment in overall life, unusual fight between other people, social withdrawal etc. as per Australian physicians that- a person needs to empowered when they suffering from any sorts of disease like- headache. However, if a patient is come through the problem then a doctor needs to give proper medicine, they needs to counseling their patients in order to remove the fear from their mind. It is mandatory that a physician must prescribe antidepressant to reduce their anxiety.
In terms of worried well, it has been found out some risk factors like lack of exercise and smoking are more in worried well condition people rather than the unworried people. Moreover, one of the social factors that can be analyzed in terms affecting the health determinants of people can be social gradients in life. The health determinants are the condition that born with the growth, work and age of the person that determines the good health maintenance (Department of Health and Human Services, 2019). The environmental and lifestyle factors can give a significant impact on wellbeing and health of the people suffers from worried well. Further, the stress in people is the issue that captures the mind of the people and tends to think about the factors influencing the health conditions. It can be stated that the subconscious mind of people dominates the thinking ability in terms of suffering from the worried well conditions (Ellison, 2017). In addition, promotion of unhealthy wellbeing of the people can lead to producing the irrelevant issue on the lives of the people.
On the other hand, it can be seen that people struggling from a financial problem can change the behaviors, which are vulnerable to complex needs. As commented by Wilkins (2015), good check-up in health determinants is necessary that encourage patients to achieve healthy treatment in terms of their respective diseases. Person possessing high level of anxiety needs to be staying alert because it tends to lose the mind control over the body and unrealistic thinking comes into mind. Hence, worried well conditions people need better detect and control over there signs of somatic diseases which will restrict from the unintentional harmful effects due to association of autonomous activation of mind. It is reported that people having anxiety issue with the worried well condition are ranked in the score of 1 to 5 by doing Whitely test (The Sydney Morning Herald, 2016). Besides this, it can be seen that researcher does not found any type of causes and effects inside the people dealing with the anxiety level in worried well conditions.
Risk factors in the human health related to the healthy lifestyle can be the behavioral risk factors like smoking, risky and excessive alcohol intake, poor nutrition and physical inactivity (Haenssle et al. 2016). Thus, the people with worried well condition can have the risk factors or does not have any type of factors influencing the health determinants to live a healthy lifestyle. Further, it can be observed that dealing with the worried well condition people are time-consuming and frustrating which cause the risk to forge the low-value care towards the patients. Additionally, it can destroy the healthy relationship between the doctor and patients too. Young people are mainly affected by the psychiatric condition that does not have any physical symptoms but emotionally it can be observed in terms of their behaviours and way of living lifestyle (NICI, et al. 2015). Unhygienic food factors can also affect their mind in the aspect of getting fewer nutrients to develop their brain growth towards living a healthy lifestyle. They become conscious about their mental health condition status that is dealing with the frustrations.
Psychological factors in humans deal with the individual level process that influences the mental status. In the aspect of the worried well people, it can be seen that perception of people changes due to the personal factors like abilities, traits and feelings. Thus, the psychological factors in the patients can affect due to an attribution, situational and external conditions of people. As opined by Kinzer & Suhr (2016), according to the evidence, received from cognitive impairment concerning about the dementia is considered the patients under worried well. Moreover, as per the psychological aspect of the patients, health anxiety models are helpful to interpret the cognitive lapses in terms of impairment and memory decline in patients.
The mental health survey of an epidemiological survey in Australia has been conducted to diagnose a mental disorder named as Australian National Survey of Mental Health and Wellbeing (NSMHWB) 2007 (Bobevski, Rosen & Meadows, 2017). It can be observed from the survey is that disorder found about 4% in mental health care indicators. Additionally, the fair population in Australia has been receiving counseling or primary care treatment without consulting with the psychiatrists of about 16%. Further, MHC (mental health care) has not determined in any type of reasonable disorder on the national pool treatment of worried well. Thus, the finding involves the proper relationship of dose-response among the service use and indicators. Moreover, government proposal has widespread by introducing the stepped care Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in order to divert the mind of patients in the current treatment pathways with the help of implementation of well informed social care by collecting local data.
On the other hand, the World Health Organization's World Mental Health (WMH) has been conducted surveys with taking sample in 23 countries, which includes Australia in the context of the DSM-IV treatment and disorders. It has been found that about 3-14% of people were found to be dealing with the emotional problems that can be mitigated by the mental disorder treatment in Australia (Bruffaerts et al. 2015). Moreover, with the help of the Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) Version 3.0 treatment module, patients are recognized with the emotion regulation, psychological distress and anxiety with the inclusion of psychiatrists and psychologists. Thus, it can be observed from the above study that psychological factors are highly influential for the worried well people who are trapped within their conservative mind with all time thinking of various type of illness.
However, from the psychological aspect it can be seen that the development of mental illness can boost the risk of heart disease in the patients (Leroux, 2018). The above situation arises due to the reassurance of patients towards their sickness issue that is controlling the current physical symptoms in terms of anxiety. Hence, it is underlying the proper diagnoses into mental disorder treatment. Further, a patient who is diagnosed earlier with the type of disease such as from brain tumor, the patient has been observing the possibility of symptoms regarding the disease occurred previously. On the other hand, doctors do not recognize any type of symptoms after the case was closed. It can be analyzed that the patients are suffering from the psychological disorder that can be considered under the worried well condition. The patient with the hypochondriac tendencies forces them to worry a lot about their physical and mental conditions. Thus, the diagnostics test is conducted to reassure them about the lowering risk of illness that automatically helps to reduce the anxiety level with resolving symptoms.
Worried well conditions in the people are expanding widely which can be explained with the help of the Mead's Theory of Social Behaviorism. As cited by Davis (2018), socialization is the concepts in which the competent group is being learned about the primary socialization. Moreover, primary Socialization is the way of gaining experiences of life from the time of growing and thriving about their physical needs such as clothing, shelter and food. Thus, it will help the life to lead with the correct norms and language along with the adequate primary socialization. As illustrated by Mead (2019), person develops self-image by the interaction with the other person. Further, self-awareness in the person is necessary to tackle the self-image in front of the person. Thus, in the aspect of the worried well condition people, it is necessary to utilize Mead's Theory of Social Behaviorism that will formulate to achieve a productive experience in life.
Person dealing with anxiety can self develop their image in front of any person. Moreover, the worried well condition regards the low self-confidence in the person that can be mitigated by the development of self-awareness with the people they are dealing with. Therefore, this can be helpful to remove the fear of diseases with the product of social experience, which will develop a good relationship between the patient and doctors (Mead, 2019). At the preparatory stage, person needs to analyze this theory in order to get sophisticated understanding about the mental health approach.
It can be concluded that worried well is nothing but the emotional problem emerge within the person. Psychology field is expanding promptly which is progressively essential for treating human behavior. Person with acute anxiety can have the mental disorder problem of always thinking about the disease having in them but actually, it is not. Moreover, a form of psychotherapy known as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help to modify and understand the behavior of the worried well condition patients. Further, Department of Health and Human Services has recognized the social factors. In the aspect of the social factors, social gradients in life can influence the health determinants in order to live life happily with no mental illness. Risk factors in human health are related to a healthy lifestyle that can influence behavioral risk. Hence, the World Health Organization's World Mental Health (WMH) has conducted the survey to demonstrate the mental disorder of people in Australia.
